This conversion echoes the former spatial characteristics of the stone grain barn and brick cattle shed - the barn made into large uninterrupted spaces and the cattle shed divided into smaller rooms, one of which is a Mud Room for towelling off the dogs. The threshing opening at the rear was extended to create a double height garden room with wonderful views down the valley. Carefully designed fenestration, chimneys and other quality details help to distinguish this conversion. Entered for Civic Trust Award.
